What Does Expat Health Insurance Out-Patient Benefit Include?
Out-Patient cover typically includes medical treatment that does not require a hospital stay including, but not limited to: Doctor or General Practitioner (GP) visits, Specialist consultations, physiotherapy, emergency ward/room treatment. This benefit will also typically cover outpatient surgery, which means surgery that does not require an overnight stay in a hospital.
In addition to the more ‘typical’ medical treatments listed above out-patient cover may include alternative complementary therapies such as: chiropractor, homeopath, osteopath, acupuncturist.
